InsTrust Now Available on Jenesis Quote Control!
InsTrust is pleased to announce that agents are now able to secure an accurate quote for our company through the Jenesis Quote Control application. Many of you who use Jenesis are familiar with this feature which allows the agent to use Jenesis as a virtual comparative rater. Agents using Quote Control are now able to get quotes from five companies after entering the applicant’s information only once. The InsTrust process works very similarly to the process other carriers currently in place use.
Agents enter the customer’s information one time into the existing Jenesis quote screen and then select InsTrust from the drop down menu. A page will display that asks the agent what credit level to use for the quote (Best, Average or Do not run credit) and then by clicking the rate button, the quote information will be sent to our system, InsForce, to calculate a rate. Please be advised, if the quote includes violations on the customer’s driving record, the agent will need to right click on the driver’s license number field on the Jenesis screen and go to the violations screen to enter the details there, (just like they do for GMAC now) in order to obtain an accurate quote. Within a few seconds, InsForce will send a rate to the Jenesis system and agents may then select to “Apply to Quote Control” or “Apply to Grid.” The quote is stored in the InsTrust Quick Quote menu automatically allowing for easy retrieval later.
During the quote control process, we do not run any type of credit history on the client. If you select the Best Option, you will receive the lowest rate, if you select the Average Option you will receive the middle rate and if you select to Rate without Credit, you will receive the highest rate. We wanted you to be able to select from a couple of options so you can determine the closest rate that you think matches the client’s history. Then, if the rate looks good, you can bridge over to our system and elect to run the MVR and Credit Report and receive the final rate based on the information in the reports.
