What do I tell my clients you will do after a claim?
The Claims Process Explained

Nothing happens when I click “New Business.”
Your Internet browser may be blocking pop ups. You will need to disable this function or just hold down the ctrl key each time you click from page to page within InsForce. (If you use Internet Explorer, you can disable your pop up blocker by going to “Tools” and click “Disable pop up blocker.”)

Why are the drop down menus in InsForce blank and inaccessible when I’m trying to get a quote?
You probably just need to update your Java software. Click this link to go directly to the download page for this free update.

Why can’t I view/print my client’s declaration pages and insurance cards?
Make sure you’re using the most recent version of Adobe Reader. If you don’t have Adobe Reader, you may download it for free by clicking this link.

Are there some policies that I can’t endorse online?
Yes, some policies will not be eligible for online endorsement/amendment transactions. Please contact us and allow us to process endorsements for the following types of policies:
Policies with Inexperienced Operators

  • Policies currently in Cancellation Status
  • Policies currently in Expired Status
  • Policies in Renewal Status

Can I swap out an old car for a new car?
Not really. You should first add the new car and then delete the old car to process an endorsement swapping out vehicles.

How are endorsements billed?
It depends on the status of the policy when the endorsement is done:

  • If the next installment has not been billed, the full cost of the endorsement/amendment will be divided equally between the remainder of installments.
  • If an installment has been billed, but not yet due, the endorsement/amendment premium will be divided equally between the unpaid installments. The insured will receive a revised bill for the down payment of the endorsement/amendment in addition to the installment previously billed.
  • If the insured has been mailed a “notice of cancellation” for their current installment, that installment will not change. The endorsement/amendment premium will be divided equally by the number of remaining unbilled installments.

Why do you ask for a down payment of the endorsement/amendment?
When policies cancel for non payment after an endorsement has been done it almost always creates a negative funds situation for agents and InsTrust so please do what you can, when you can, to collect at least a down payment amount toward the endorsement. While we know this is sometimes not possible, awareness of this problem may help the agent and InsTrust lessen the severity of the problem.
